Day 1- We have arrived

                    Day 1
                    Monday 18th November

Not being camera shy. At all.

Black out goggles on. Ready to go.

That'll be a tree. I found it with my nose.

Ava 'disappointed' to find a tyre full of water, while blindfolded.

A fishing net catches a large amount of P7 pupils.

After a chilly drive up and an amazing break at Pitlochry we arrived at Lagganlia at 1.20pm. We had a quick tour of the site, had lunch then met our group leaders. We made our beds (with hardly any help.......) and then unpacked. Some rooms are definitely tidier than others. Dinner at 5.30pm went well, we completed camp diaries at 6.30pm then took part in the nightline. This saw us all navigate our way round a line in the pitch black while describing obstacles that were in front of us. Justina was surprised at the number of tall wooden obstacles that were part of the course, realising half way through that they were in fact trees.

Kian wrestling with his duvet. And winning!

Friends help each other out in making a bed.

                                                    Tyler mastering his duvet cover.

Girls not noticing the camera at all.

Tea time rules and procedures explained by Jamie, our evening leader.

10pm. Everyone is in their beds. Jury out deciding if they will stay there. It is very frosty outside.

  2. Looks like their all getting of to a great start. Who would've thought their would've been loads of tall wooden things in a forest (poor Justina lol).
Well done Kian, I'm 40 and still struggle to wrestle a quilt cover into submission lol.
The girls not noticing a camera yeah right !! lol you could have an invisible camera and they'd still notice it and strike a pose lol.
Hope the next few days are just as much fun (or even more fun) as today has been.
